    Really Nice Electric Grand

I was VERY impressed with the Addictive Keys Grand Piano, so when I needed a comparably awesome Electric Grand Piano, I once again turned to XLN's Addictive Keys "Electric Grand Piano". I'm certainly impressed with the authentic "80's" and "90's" Electric Grand modeling. There are many to choose from and of course you can tweak them if you think you need to. This is the Piano sound you heard on nearly every single hit recording in the 80's and 90's (the Yamaha CP-80). The music in that era didn't fit well with a true acoustic Grand Piano, but worked perfectly with the Electric Grand. You certainly can't get authentic Electric Grand sounds this good at this (or any) price elsewhere. The ability to tweak the instruments in the Addictive Keys GP lineup is super easy too. These sounds were recorded from the real thing with multiple microphones and mic placements. Installing is super easy. Works as a stand-alone to play via MIDI controller on your computer, or you can use them in your DAW as a virtual instrument. Either way, they sound really nice!

    In love

I'm not a huge sampled piano guy, but this plug sounds phenomenal and ticks all the right boxes for me. The raw sound is incredible considering the light CPU hit. What really makes this instrument shine, though, is the amount of creativity and utility built into the design. Generally, I would take a piano like this and put a huge effect rack after it. I'm a Music for Airports kinda composer. This plugin has so many great-sounding sound sculpting option built right in that I can use it on its own. The mic, amp, effect, and chain modeling is really superb. The reverb is gorgeous. Visually, it's a little funky and navigation can be tricky, but I won't penalize it for that here. This is an incredibly versatile piano. You will dig it--and then, like me, you will want the rest of the suite.

These keyboard sounds are fantastic. They are extremely realistic and feel good to play too. What I like most about them though, is I've never heard a sample drop or any MIDI glitches with these during sequencing, even at crazy low buffer settings. I have an old Roland Fantom X7 that has great sounds too, but mixing the two together is like heaven. Due to the variety of options on the GUI, These keyboard sounds have really enabled me to expand tonally and create some awesome textures I haven't been able to create before. Fantastic product! Having a jazz/funk background, I decided to pick up Addictive Keys Mark 1 the other day and love that too!!

Sweetwater's email authorization process was a snap. After I bought it I had it up and running in 15 minutes. (Some installation time needed, but that's to be expected if you don't have any XLN products prior to purchasing) Thanks!!

    Nothing else touches this

One of the most amazing digital pianos I have ever purchased. If you play or write funk, pop, rock, RnB or Soul this is a MUST have for your collection.

The entire Addictive Keys collection surpasses all others I have tried to date and I have tried all of the top brands along with many others. Sound quality is unmatched and the amount of presets and control are superb!

    Great classic sounds

I bought the addictive keys because of it's ability to use as a stand alone module as well as the classic sound of the Yamaha CP80.
It's really sounds great, extremely warm. It's also very resource friendly.

An interesting note: I setup my Arturia Keylab and my Korg SV1 as controllers. When comparing the exact same sound from addictive keys, the Arturia created a completely different sound as opposed to using my Korg. The Korg brings out the warmth of the CP80 and the Arturia creates a much brighter sound.
    Definitely something to consider.

    Best virtual CP

Fantastic CP-70/80 set, the best I've found and I've tried several. Dynamic and enjoyable to play. I have the real deal at home, but in a production pinch and on the road, the XLN does just fine. The XLN program (required for use) is proprietary and has some great fxs and mic positions.

    Real Nice Plugin

I really love the CP-70/CP-80 sound. So I was looking forward to this plugin. It does not disappoint. It has a very nice tone and lots of ways to easily tailor the sound. I've played along with a few songs that have the CP-70/80 sound and it sounds very much in place.

As a songwriter, I really find this instrument to be inspirational. It's very easy to start using immediately and fast to get around. The presets are another source of inspiration.

If you are looking for a really good CP-70/80 VSTi, this sounds great and is priced very reasonably.
