    i was pleasently surprized

this is the first vox product i've ever bought, so i was'nt sure what to expect. but with there reputation, i knew it would good. when i plugged my prs p22 ( the peizo side) into a regular amp,it sounded real good.but when i plugged into the vox acoustic combo, i was pleasently surprized, it realy sounded like an acoustic guitar. if i needed the bigger model, i would buy it, but this little guy serves me well! thanks vox, and ofcourse sweetwater, again.

    Great travel amp

I was in need of a little acoustic travel amp. Something that I could transport on a plane and in a suitcase. The Vox 30-watt Acoustic Combo is a delightful and outstanding sounding amp. It is perfect for practice and traveling. I would even use this little amp in a small venue, it has that much of a great sound.. If you're looking for something small with quality sound, I would definitely recommend this one.

    The Vox AGA30

This is absolutely an outstanding little acoustic amp. The quailty of the sound is very good. As soon as I took this amp out of the box, I tried my acoustic and a Gibson studio electric guitar through the Vox 30 and the sound was great. This is perfect for very small venues and easy to carry. Although, it doesn't have a large amount of volume, this amp could be miked for a studio session. I was looking for something compact and lite that I could carry with me on flights to other destinations and this amp works perfectly. I would advise any one looking for something small with quailty sound the AGA Vox30.

    Acoustic practice amp

Got this little Vox for a very specific application: to go with my Blackstar HT-1R when I play my PRS P22, so I can hear the guitar in stereo with both the humbucker(s) to the HT1R and the piezo to the Vox.
Gives a very nice, swirling, extra something to the tone, as well as a bigger, fuller sound.
When I ran the P22 thru just one cable with combined signals, the piezo was a bit disappointing thru a regular tube amp- tried all 5 of my amps and it just wasn't there. But, when I hooked up the piezo to the Vox, and the 'buckers to a tube amp... Well, then I got the tone I was looking for.
I don't gig with it as it's not very loud, and interestingly enough, of the two channels, the non-tube "normal" channel sounds more like a true acoustic guitar than the "tube" channel. Has a nice little bonus in either reverb, chorus or both in one easy to use knob. Also, channel one works with either a standard guitar cable or plug in your mic here and use as a little PA system. (Haven't tried that yet)
Overall, it suits my needs perfectly for practice at reasonable home-owner volumes. Recommend it for this app!
