Great for choirs

By Eric from Columbus, OH on July 21, 2012 Music Background: Location Recording, Education

I have been using these on choir and they are wonderful! I recently had to put them in service as an ORTF recording pair, and they impressed me again! Very detailed and realistic sounding, and not very feedback prone in my expereince.

Rugged too

Love this mic, mic'd a fender hot rod deville 4x10 with it, excellent. I even use it to record acoustic guitar, cubase 4 with a tascam interface. Great results. Gigged with it, done amateur recording with it, can't do without it now.

Very versatile and natural

By Eddie Mapp from New Orleans, La on November 11, 2008 Music Background: live sound engineer: Evanescence, Stone Temple Pilots, Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society

If you work with Blues/Rock style bands then this is the perfect mic for you. It sounds great on Leslie top, Trumpet, Sax, Guitar, Toms. I've used to this on several live Jazz shows for toms and the natural tone of the drum translated directly to the P.A.
