Loop ends wound way up the string

These are good strings, but I wanted to give browsers a head's up on the loop ends. I have a Crafter mandolin, which like the Ovation uses ball-end strings. Usually no problem for me, since I just put the ball ends of old guitar strings into the mando string loops. Mandolins like mine have the bridge not far removed from the ball ends.

The issue I want to point out is that these strings are wound pretty far up after the loop, to the point that it overlaps onto the bridge. Not that great for trying to have a single point of contact.

Because of this, I'll probably go back to using the Martin strings.

Nothing else wrong with the strings themselves.
