This is really good for a cleaner .
Music background: Family

I despise dirty strings! I take the head off of this product, put it on a shop paper towel, put the paper towel under my strings, pull up as I run it up and down a few strings at a time, and my strings feel and sound fairly new every time I play!!!!

Release Valve under felt

Art mentions storing the bottle upside down to allow the liquid to seep into the applicator pad. Actually, there is a push-button release valve under the pad. Hold the bottle upside down and push for about one second on the center of the pad. If you use your finger it might get oily. I use the back end of a ball point pen or a chapstick tube.

I've been using a couple different cleaning solutions at the same time, one to clean the strings and the other to smooth the strings. THIS IS ALL YOU WILL NEED.Anything Dunlop is perfect. No doubt about it .
Music background: Playing for three years

Does what it should

I have never used any string cleaner or lubricant in the nine years I have been playing guitar. I started using this just under a week ago when I changed my strings. It is very humid where I live and my strings usually begin to rust pretty quick. Since I have used this cleaner and lubricant the strings do not look bad at all and they still sound very bright. I would definitely recommend this product to any guitarist.
