Great Instrument

Great workmanship. Nice look and very nice sound even without the amp. Easy finger board. Great that it is not made in China. I am very satisfied after playing it for 3 days. It has made an impression on me and some of my friends
Music background: Playing since1963

Excellent quality for the price

After circling around buying one of these Godin Kingpin guitars for over a year, I finally did it. I have absolutely no buyers remorse! Good fit and finish, durable construction, and great tone. I got every bit and more of what I paid for. I find that it is a bit touchy as far as staying in tune. I ordered mine from Sweetwater and had it in less than 48 hours. Great company to deal with.

nice instrument

this guitar is what I needed. I can strum it with open chords and it has great clarity. overdriven, it has great clarity. this is what I wanted and what I was looking for. any guitar can get nasty, not many guitars can produce a sound in which you can hear each string as the guitar is strummed overdriven. I can approach this guitar with an acoustic open chord strum or I can get a nice rock sound, and even some nice jazz sounds. my only complaint is that the hum of the p-90s. I've never owned a guitar w/ p90s so I wasn't ready for the hum. I have had to roll my volume off in between songs or the hum is distracting...like everyone is looking around for a hot cable unplugged. I have just purchased a humdebugger and I'm hoping that resolves that issue. other than that complaint, I love the guitar. it is versatile and beautiful.
