JHS 4 Wheeler Bass Fuzz Pedal Reviews
Add everything from vintage '60s fuzz to over-the-top, modern sounds with the JHS 4Wheeler bass fuzz pedal. Tone and Fuzz controls give you the power to sculpt smooth and warm tones to brittle, biting tones with the sweep of a knob. The Gate control creates cool synth break-off sounds reminiscent of the White Stripes. To totally change the focus of the 4Wheeler fuzz, just flip the Hi/Lo toggle switch for a more focused low-end sound. This versatile pedal is also great for guitars and keyboards, not just bass. Take it from Sweetwater - this is a fun and creative fuzz that is sure to create new signature sounds for your rig. Create the perfect fuzz sound for your next gig or session with the handbuilt 4Wheeler bass fuzz from JHS Pedals.

Sweet
I was looking for a Brown Dog pedal (Chunk Systems) but it has been discontinued. I saw this on the Sweetwater site and decided to check it out. Since my right index finger is broken and I can't play my bass or baritone guitars, I am using it with a Fender Piano Bass. It is REALLY AWESOME!! The gate is pretty tight but not too clampy, so it really helps separate the notes. The fuzz mixed with the gate really brings an even-ness to the keys, without the pedal some of the keys are a little softer than others. Kind of like a compressor pedal but with more power. I can't wait to try it with my stringed instruments after my hand heals...

A present for my son. He did the research and trialled it.
Uses it for band and recording.
He loves it.
Holy Fuzzy Grail
I played this pedal through a Music Man Albert Lee single coil and I could not believe the bass response this pedal produced from single coil pickups, This bass from this fuzz pedal is fantastic. Some fuzz pedals can be nasally but this pedal has big fat bass fuzz. Basically this fuzz pedal has serious cojones.
