Complete Stage Coverage

The Chauvet DJ 4BAR Tri USB provides you with four remote-controllable, individually adjustable heads containing 28 high-intensity tri-color LEDs. Creating large, coordinated light shows incorporating your other 4BAR fixtures is a blast, thanks to the 4BAR Tri USB's Master/Slave mode. Chauvet took it even further by mounting the additional fixtures to the top of the 4BAR Tri USB. The lighting experts at Sweetwater know that doing this makes achieving total room or stage coverage a piece of cake. Also, the 4BAR Tri USB gives you a batch of sound-activated programs that dance to the pulse of your music. The Chauvet DJ 4BAR Tri USB wash lighting system takes a great performance and makes it even better!

D-Fi USB compatibility opens up new wireless possibilities

When power isn't an issue but running DMX cables is, D-Fi USB is a serious asset. The 4BAR Tri USB features a special USB port that accepts a Chauvet D-Fi USB transceiver. This transceiver lets your 4BAR Tri USB receive wireless DMX from your D-Fi hub or even your smartphone, if you add a FlairCon Air to your rig. What's more, you can create master/slave links between D-Fi equipped lighting fixtures, allowing you to set up sophisticated, automated light shows without even touching a DMX controller or running a single DMX cable.

Chauvet DJ 4BAR Tri USB Wash Lighting System Features at a Glance:
  • Wash lighting solution with 28 high-intensity tri-color (RGB) LEDs

Upgrade From 4-Bar Flex Worth The Money!

I bought the 4Bar Tri USB as an upgrade from the 4-Bar Flex that I previously had. I wanted better quality with a faster and easier setup, and that's what I got. I use these with the D-Fi USB sticks. It took me a few tries before I was able to configure the settings correctly. Initially, there was flickering because I was transmitting and receiving everything on the same channel (both lights and the foot switch.) But after adjusting the channel, syncing these lights became quick and easy. I just plug in the USB sticks and they're right in sync. The included wireless foot switch allows me to fade out or strobe on any of the automatic presets, as well as provide standard functionality such as changing presets, or moving to sound activation mode or blackout mode. I mainly use the color fade preset pattern and it is very smooth. These lights provide a very consistent and fuller flood of color with a seamless fade. If you want to stack these, there is a pass-through version. This particular model sits on top of the light stand. I do have a DMX controller, but I don't use it. Yes, I realize that I'm using these with minimal functionality. But that's fine. The color is much better than the Flex. The setup is much easier and faster. For me, mission accomplished!

TRI bar light

The Chauvet Tri bar is excellent . My complaint is with trying to learn how to operate it with the Obey 40 controller." IT IS EXTREMLY DIFFICULT " The instructions are not very clear , especially for a first timer such as me . I have spent several days reading and watching many videos and I still have not figured this system out !

Quick & Easy Setup/Teardown

I used 4 of the original 4-bars for almost 5-years and loved them!. The 4-Bar Tri is a BIG improvement on the original. Deep Bight Colors! Yes, more expensive, a few pounds heavier, but worth every penny! The originals seem almost dim compared to the Tri. You can literally set up in under 10-minutes! The case and bag (for the stand) is not tour quality. But if you take care of your equipment, they work just fine! The total package is a great deal! Lights, case, stand and foot-pedal. TIP: I've installed bicycle hooks (from hardware store) at a local venue to hang the lights. It gives you more stage room, shortens your setup time and other bands will use them too!

Great lights

I was really putting some research into what Kind of lights I wanted for the band. These really do the trick. One of the other guys uses the foot switch to change the lighting which frees me up to worry about the board. Great choice not to mention the great service I got from Sweetwater.

Love 'em

We bought these for our small DJ/Live Event business. They work great! We've used them at small house parties up to a 200+ person wedding. At the wedding we paired them with 2 ADJ Aggressors that we mounted on top of the of the 4bar. We are going to be ordering a second set and then use the wireless USB to master/slave them without needing a dmx cable. We've had nothing but compliments on them. So far we just put them in sound activated mode and then dial in the sensitivity until they're hitting on the major kick drum or snare hits. I do wish sometimes that the sensitivity was more granular. Sometimes I just can't quite get them set the way I'd like depending on their proximity to the PA - in the end I'm the only one who notices though. Took off 1/2 a star for the foot pedal which is sort of flimsy and finicky. It works ok but not great.
