The best Jazz III pick for me

I've tried almost all the Jazz III picks from Dunlop except the primetone material. From the nylon to the carbon fiber material I would say the Ultex is the ultimate material for me. Plays impressively better than all the Jazz III picks from feel to the string glide not to mention the overall tone seems to be warmer with a cleaner atttack with focused lows and not overwhelming highs like when you hear that "clicky" string pluck noise. I'm buying a pank at this moment and you should as well. It will change your playing for good!

Best pick I've ever used

These are similar to the $20 picks (a piece) I used to use that were made from synthetic tortoise shell, except those would warp, these don't. Been playing 25 years, mostly shred/metal/blues and this is the best pick I've ever used in my 25 years. They are small (just right for me) but not too small like some jazz picks are. If you are struggling playing clean, and by clean I mean accurately, I highly recommend using these picks. It may take a few days to get used to the smaller size but it will help your playing immensely.

Those are the finest picks on the market. Smooth tone, fast speed.

The Sound

These are my favorite picks at the moment because of the way they sound. So much warmer and smoother attack than anything else I've tried. Obviously the Jazz design is a whole separate ballgame than regular sized picks. I prefer the Jazz Ultex picks because they are super fast if you are into the shred and they sound warm and fat which is great for jazz. Three small things worth mentioning for the sake of a review - they wear down over time the coating also wears making them increasingly rounded and slippery over extended use. Lastly, they are so annoying to find if you drop them on the floor. So if you love em you will probably have a bunch on deck. But luckily these picks are cheap!

Pleasantly surprised

A friend recommended these picks to me and at first I was reluctant to try them. I've always played Tortex and that's what I'm used to. But since they were cheap enough, I decided to go ahead and give it a shot, and I wish I'd gotten them long ago. They are good and solid, my picking is a lot more accurate, I'm getting pinch harmonics effortlessly and they cut through the mix very well. I'm a heavy picker - I tend to hit the strings harder - and these are solid every time. I also have a tendency to drop picks and I haven't dropped one of these yet. It took a little to get used to the reduced size, but once I did, wow. Definitely recommended for all types of music - I play everything from classic rock to metal.
