Special-edition 410e with Indian Rosewood

For a dreadnought with added warmth and depth, consider the Taylor 410e-R. This special-edition Taylor 410e pairs its signature Sitka spruce top with back and sides made from Indian rosewood. The result is a three-dimensional low end and plenty of top-end sparkle. As with Taylor's other dreadnoughts, the 410e-R has a broad dynamic range - even when picked aggressively, notes and chords ring out clearly. A driving attack really highlights the 410e-R's fullness and projection. This guitar comes equipped with Taylor ES2 electronics for natural tone and dynamics in a stage-friendly direct out.

Taylor 410e-R Dreadnought Acoustic-electric Guitar at a Glance:

  • Taylor Expression System 2 electronics deliver superior sound onstage
  • Breathable gloss finish
Sitka spruce and Indian rosewood provide a well-rounded tone

This Limited Taylor 410e-R acoustic guitar is a prime example of the quality tonewoods Bob Taylor and his team select for their instruments. It features time-proven Sitka spruce as its top, which gives you projection with just the right amount of sparkle. And the Indian rosewood back and sides exude a vibrant quality that responds well to how hard you drive the strings. You'll find that this tonewood combination is a good choice for aggressive flatpickers and strummers who are looking for a well-rounded, all-purpose acoustic guitar.

Classic dreadnought shape delivers excellent projection

The naturally deep lows, crisp highs, and open, airy midrange of Taylor's dreadnought body help to balance this 410e-R's tone across the full sonic spectrum. The powerful voice and unrivaled projection of the traditional dreadnought body style have made it the choice of strummers and flatpickers throughout history. Its sound lends itself equally well to traditional bluegrass as it does to modern acoustic rock. You're going to love this Taylor 410e-R acoustic guitar if you're looking for a guitar that can handle aggressive picking and driving rhythms.

Taylor Expression System 2 electronics deliver superior sound onstage

Artists who play plugged in will appreciate the natural-sounding Taylor Expression System 2 (ES2) electronics onboard the 410e-R. This system features a three-section proprietary pickup located behind the guitar's saddle for clear and accurate sound reproduction. Discreet contoured master volume and tone controls let you tweak your sound and output from the stage, and a phase switch helps you squelch feedback before it starts.

Breathable gloss finish

The Taylor 410e-R's lustrous gloss finish provides a great blend of protection and tone. At about the thickness of a piece of paper, this finish allows the top, back, and sides of the guitar to move freely for the best possible tone. This allows the wood to breathe and, Sweetwater agrees, appears to have no negative impact on the tone. Thanks to this special finish, the Taylor 410e-R looks and sounds great from day one and is built to last a lifetime.

Outstanding Quality

Bought this for my wife and I was amazed on the tone and sustain on this guitar. Back sides and front are beautiful and the performance bracing inside looks very nice. Also want to thank Chris he is a great salesman and very professional.
