Protection For My Toys
I needed a case for a couple of my workhorse mics as I tend to be mobile.
I researched for a bit with my needed dimensions in hand. I finally settled on this SKB case (shown in pictures).
I really liked the feel of it when I pulled it out of the packaging.
The latch system is tight and the ambient pressure equalization valve is a nice touch. I like the "pffffft" sound it makes when I open the case like something out of a movie.
Another key feature for me was being able to mold the inside to accommodate my gear. I had this bad boy molded and ready to go in no time.
Overall, I am very happy I purchased this case and the price point (I bought it on sale) really brought value.
Great fit for the Warm Audio WA-87 Mic Set
Solid shell, perfect size foam cubes, easy customization, sturdy latches - it's another great SKB case. No surprise.
I got this case to hold a Warm Audio WA-87 and shock mount and accessories, for which it's perfect. I expect a lot of different microphones would fit well into this case.
Great tool care
Really like these cases for keeping my tools safe and dry. They open and close easily. The foam is great so I don't have to be careful handling them. I travel a lot and I just throw them in the bed of my pickup without worrying about the weather getting to them. Also keeps smaller items together inside. Will continue to outfit myself with these cases. I highly recommend them.
Perfect for a Zoom R-16
I bought this case for my Zoom R-16 and it's a perfect fit. It's easy enough to punch out the foam inside and two layers is enough. I know that my recorder is very safe since it's completely surrounded by foam. It closes very nicely and the latches close beautifully and the rubberized handle is awesome. I get a sure grip on it.

Waterproof, secure and adaptable (with the inclusion of the cubed foam) to whatever you need to secure. This case is all that. This is not my first purchase of a case from SKB & I have never been disappointed in the quality of the cases they build.
Great Case but wish the foam was better
The foam system was a little crude for the DIY form fitting job. I would have prefered to cut out a solid piece of foam. However, maybe the industry is happy with the checkered pre-cut system and I'm an odd ball?
