    Satisfied in every way!

Working with Tim H. and the entire Sweetwater staff from start to finish is always a great experience. The Taylor 324e is stunning and very playable. The finish is nicely done and the case is beautiful. It has a warm mid range and crisp and distinct highs. I enjoy playing the American made classic and it sounds beautiful. Taylor gives all kinds of useful tips to help maintain the guitar. If you enjoy playing, buy a guitar and encourage all to play as well! Taylor makes a quality product and the craftsmanship is obvious in this well balanced and beautiful instrument.

    Taylor 324E

what an awesome guitar, beautifully crafted, the mahogany and blackwood compliment each other and the ebony and diamond fret inlays look perfect, not gaudy. the sound is amazing whether fingerpicking or strumming. projects a clear and distinct sound I guess due to the GA body type, I have been used to dreadnaught bodies which this almost is , the difference being the "waist" is smaller which actually makes for extremely comfortable playing while sitting. I did plug it in to insure the electronics worked and sounded great, I did however leave the 1/4 plug in the guitar on my stand and that killed the battery, must unplug the amp cable when not in use, The instructions did state this but who reads instruction before hand., I also tried to replace with a 9 volt Panasonic battery and it will not fit in battery case, I looked at the two batteries and the Duracell 9 volt is shorter? who knew. If you can buy this guitar.... a keeper

    MAHOGONY AND BLACKWOOD

I bought my 324e in April and love it. It has a precise sound and a joy to play. The looks are great and plugged in or not it has that unmistakable Taylor presence.

Jeff Bonifay was a real standup guy to deal with. Buy one, you'll be impressed.

Mahogany Top + Taylor Quality & Playability

I bought a 324e (non-shaded) in February 2016, one of the last production run models for 2015. Sometimes, guitars with a body smaller than dreadnought-size can come across as slightly thin BUT the 324e does not. The 324e has a very even and punchy sound which is very pleasing to my ears. This guitar also has the correct balance of high-end in the sound as well...sometimes smaller spruce-topped guitars have too much treble. Most of this is due to the Mahogany top, which is a perfect choice for a guitar of this size. As far as the E2 pickup system is concerned, I've only made a few test recordings with it so far and it sounds better than most internal acoustic pickups. All in all, my Taylor 324e is a fantastic instrument. Fit and finish are excellent, playability is almost startlingly good and the mahogany top produces a warm, punchy but very clear tone.
