Worst Case I've Ever Seen
Piece of crap. I've dealt with this case for several years now, and it has been damaging my guitar all along the way.
The lid doesn't stay open, because the ribbon that holds the lid on is too short. So, if you have one careless moment and don't hold the case open while you're trying to get the guitar out, it will fall, and one of the lock tops will hit right on your soundboard.
Also, The lid never did fit on quite right. Sometimes you have to wiggle it a little bit. That's probably because the hinges are weak and crooked.
To top it all off, this is the only hardshell case I've ever owned that doesn't have a key lock. How lame is that?
If you're thinking about buying a Taylor, do yourself a favor, and sell the case on eBay if you can find somebody who has lost their mind and actually wants to buy it. Take the money, and get a real case.... any case... even a cheap one... Anything but this case. Stick to guitars, Taylor. Leave the cases up to a company that knows how to make cases.
