It's darn good, for the money you can't go wrong
I thought after all the years I would treat myself to a HIGHER LEVEL mixer and spent the bucks on a 16 channel TOFT. Well, the sound was pretty good but the noise floor was so high I became angry every time is used it. There was a hiss on my vocals and had to use a voice suppressor to mute the hiss. Could not take it anymore for the money I paid... so I returned it and bought this- A Mackie.
I had a 24 channel Mackie for about a dozen years and it was good. Decided to buy another and this one did not disappoint. The sound is clean and crisp, but not as grand as the TOFT. I had to play around with the EQ's in my Daw to get close to the sound of the TOFT- BUT- no more HISS on my vocals and the noise floor is almost not there. GOOD BYE TOFT- GOOD BUY FOR A MACKIE.
