Professional ukulele that's built like a classical guitar

When Cordoba designed the 23 Series, they approached these instruments like smaller-bodied classical guitars, paying close attention to weight, tonewoods, body construction, finish, and playability. The result is an affordable and lightweight professional instrument that plays great, with looks, projection, intonation, and articulation for the tenor hall.

Fun to play, easy to learn

The ukulele is a fun instrument with a unique sound that's quick to learn for all ages - especially for guitarists. The 23 Series Tenor Uke takes what's great about the ukulele and pushes it into professional territory for a go-anywhere instrument that will inspire you to create wherever you take it, from the beach to the studio.

Back to the ukulele's roots

In designing its ukulele series, Cordoba traced the instrument back to its heritage: the Portuguese braguinha. Cordoba began building in Portugal with period-appropriate build methods and body woods before learning where they could innovate for better tone and playability. Even experts will be impressed by the 23 Series Tenor Uke's impressive features for the money.

Cordoba 23 Series Tenor Ukulele Features:
  • Quality built like a miniature classical guitar
  • Solid ovangkol top provides rich midrange tone
  • Ovangkol back and sides for warmth and projection
  • Unique finish - no two 23 Series ukes look the same
  • Comfortable mahogany neck with articulate rosewood fingerboard

Seems pretty nice!

This is a well crafted instrument, it doesn't appear to have any flaws. The first one I received had bad intonation but of course Sweetwater quickly shipped a replacement in time for my trip to the beach! it is mellower than my daughter's concert Snail, and it doesn't sustain as long as hers on the notes higher up the frets, I'm new to the Uke so not sure what to expect. I do enjoy the size of the fretboard & it's fun to play!
