Studio Quality cable
When I bought my first length of 223B I was making a 60 foot guitar cable with it. It was what the store offered as mic cable and I was unfamiliar with brands and quality. Eventually I used the cable in my personal studio and for the first time I noticed a difference, started reading about cables and finally did a comparison. I used a Radio Shack ,Hosa and the Proco cables.
The room was acoustically treated and the cables were all connected at the same time with the same source.
The source through Radio Shack required a db increase and though I tried to adjust the EQ I just never seem to balance out.
The Hosa cable was similar but I did not have to adjust the db or EQ as much.
The Proco cable was quite a surprise. There was no need to adjust the db or the EQ of the source. The sources was clearer, quieter, and a EQ adjustment was not needed. This was quality cable.
This means if I make cords from the Proco 223B cable my system will be quieter and allowing all my gear to sound better and more open. I gave my whole system a head room boost.what a difference.
This is cable worth investing in especially if you like making your own cables to fit.
This is fully braided shield. It was easy to prepare for soldering.
I had one of those moments when I knew I really did something good for myself.
Sweetwater was able provide me an excellent quality product at a good price.
