Taylor 214 Grand Auditorium - Natural Reviews
With a layered rosewood body, Sitka spruce top, and ebony fretboard and bridge, the 200 Series makes the Taylor experience more accessible than ever. Scalloped bracing delivers the Taylor steel-string tone, and black fiber binding, dot inlays, and wood fiber rosette contribute to a smart appearance.

Love this guitar!
This guitar has a beautiful sound. It is the perfect size for me, I am 5'3. The 14 series has the smaller box and a slightly narrower neck than the 210. I am very pleased that I got this guitar.
It's awesome!
So I went into my local guitar general store, to try out all acoustics up to 2000 dollars. I tried many Martin's, including the D35, Gibson Acoustics, such as the Hummingbird, J35, J45, and most I wasn't impressed with. I also tried some mid-range Taylor acoustics, the 314ce, and 414ce. I then played what I believed was a midrange Taylor, but in fact was a 214, and I was shocked at the price tag, because it sounded better to me than the J45 or other Taylor's under 2 grand. I then began to play the J35 J45 and 214 back and fourth, the 214 to my ears was as good as the j45. Both had that mellow, yet articulate sound I like. Nonetheless, there was a 1300 dollar difference between the two. I walked out with the 214. Granted I may have gotten a really good Taylor 214, but, the consistency in craftsmanship with the Taylor's is second to none. If you are not sure wether or not to get this guitar, I challenge you to go to your local shop and play it against anything under 2k.
