Exactly what I wanted

By Michelle Akin from Tinton Falls, NJ on August 25, 2022

This case is lightweight, yet sturdy. Fits my Yamaha LL6 ARE perfectly. I had a hardshell case that was just too heavy, but this lightweight solution is awesome and so easy to carry in the backpack position. I love the pouches on the outside in addition to the compartment on the inside!

I GOT THIS FOR A FRIEND WHO WANTED TO SUPRISE HER HUSBAND ON THEIR 61'ST ANNIVERSARY. WHEN SHE GAVE IT TO HIM HE WAS DELIGHTED. HE LATER TOLD ME THIS CASE IS PERFECT. LIGHT AND GIVES GREAT PROTECTION TO HIS GUITAR.

Terrific buy

I would highly recommend this gig bag to anyone who is seeking an alternative to a traditional hard shell case. It's lightweight, yet very sturdily built & has more than enough storage space. Also, the zippers are well made & function well. Thanks again, Sweetwater.

Nice Case

By Dan C. from Cincinnati, OH on May 20, 2017 Music Background: Still trying.

This is sort of a hard soft case. While not solid it has a rigid core that is pretty stout. If I were a pro road warrior I'd go hard shell but this will do just fine for most of us. It does offer good protection. The inside is nice and soft, it's well made and the storage pockets will of course be used. And it fits my guitar. Works for me.

Excellent. What I expected.

Almost Perfect

I am very pleased with the case, it fits my Martin HD35 and my Eastman Dreadnaught with a little room that I take up with a cleaning rag. The support is unreal and the case is not like your normal "gig" bag. I did the research and this is what I wanted. The only reason it did not get 5 star is that the zipper is a little sticky going around, I am hoping from use it will smooth out.If not I know Sweetwater will back the products they sell.

Lightweight and suitable for a few body styles.

I've been hauling by Taylor back and forth to gigs and lessons in the hardshell it came in. I wish I hadn't waited so long to buy this. The soft case and guitar together is much lighter than the hardshell is empty. The case is padded polystyrene. It's tailored and slimmer than other similar bags I've tried in the past and looks durable enough to last for a few years. Fits dreadnoughts, and my Taylor GA and GS guitars well.

good value and design for the $$$

By Brooklyn Brad from Brooklyn, NY on March 11, 2014 Music Background: travels by subway w guitar!

Better shoulder straps than some - sewn in, not clipped to a center ring on top. Interior good for Gibson J-35, and not TOO loose for a D-18. Worst detail is the misplaced rubber reinforcement 'pads'. The one on the bottom is well placed. The three on the side opposite the handle do not touch the ground, and thus provide no protection.
