Cordoba 15TM Tenor Ukulele - Natural Reviews
The 15TM tenor ukulele takes Cordoba's concert-sized 15CM and super-sizes it. This uke's larger tenor-sized body exhibits an impressive level of projection and volume, making it perfect for players who find concert ukuleles a bit too small. Featuring all-mahogany construction, the 15TM produces a well-balanced tone, with superb dynamic range and ear-pleasing overtones. Appointments such as an abalone rosette and ivoroid binding take the 15TM beyond playability, however - especially for a ukulele at this price. Complete with premium Aquila strings, the Cordoba 15TM tenor ukulele looks and sounds incredible.

Inexpensive but sounds great
Handles and sounds better than expected for an inexpensive Tenor uke.
great budget uke!
Initial impression of this uke is impressive. It isn't fancy, but seems well made. As a guitar player, the action seems nice and low, easy to bang out a few chords. the tuners are very smooth and went to pitch easily. This is my first uke, so I am not an expert, but everything seems to be of good quality! Very happy with the purchase.
Impressive
I'm just starting to learn to play the ukulele and was looking for a high quality yet affordable uke. This is my second uke, but it's the first one that I myself selected to purchase. My first is a soprano uke, but I feel more comfortable with the bigger body and wider fretboard of the tenor. I saw the Cordoba 15TM at a store and liked the sound, look and feel when I tried it out. The price was good, but after a quick internet search, I found that it sold for less online. After comparing several online stores, Sweetwater stood out to me for the affordable price, free two-year warranty, and free shipping. I actually found the uke on another website for a lower price, but after speaking with my Sales Engineer, Justin was convincing enough that I wanted to buy from here. The fact that Sweetwater gets their gear direct and sells it unopened from the package nor hung on display or played was one of the points that sold me. Plus the free two-year warranty gives me peace of mind which you can't put a price on. With musical instruments, I don't want to take a chance or deal with the hassle of getting something I didn't pay for. The shipping was fast and the gear was packed very safely. The ukulele is in awesome condition, sounds great and I really enjoy playing it. Also, it fits perfectly in the hard case that Sweetwater recommended. If there is one thing that was annoying, it was that there was some sticky residue on the edge of the fretboard and neck. Not sure why, but my guess is probably the remnants of glue from an old sticker. It took me several tries using different methods to get most of it off. Overall though, I love my new uke, was impressed with the excellent, friendly customer service, and I'd definitely order from Sweetwater again!
Perfect Beginner Uke for Me!
I've been playing an inexpensive plastic concert ukulele for 6 months and wanted to upgrade to wood and to a tenor size. I was comparing a similar Kala model and chose this because I felt it was better made. There is a nice youtube video comparing this with three other inexpensive models, including a Kala. This model came in a close second in the review, and it matched my budget. I like the rosette and binding, even though the binding is plastic. I feel the plastic binding will be more durable in the long run, since I plan to take it camping. I'm very happy with my choice. It plays well and sounds way better than the plastic uke. I was unable to make some cords (D for example) ring out on the plastic uke and find it is almost effortless on the Cordoba 15TM. Sweetwater is great to work with. They called me to confirm my order and ask if I had any questions. The extended warranty is definitely a plus, as was the free 2-day shipping. Again I am happy with my choice of uke and purchasing from Sweetwater.
Buzzes
I was so excited for this ukelele. The C string has an annoying buzz and overall, the instrument sounds horrible. Thought it was just me and tried to play it every day. Too late to return so now I'm stuck. I can't sell it because I would never do that to someone. Still loving my Kala Soprano and Enya Concert.
Bang for Buck - Great Starter Ukulele
Nicely made with quality materials. Bang for buck, pretty much unmatched for all of the enhancements. Only drawback is that there is no strap peg. Since there are work around for that, not a big deal. Sweet mellow sound too. Recommend!
My first acoustic instrument, im hooked!
Incredible sound, beautiful craftsmanship, extremely pleased, incredible value. Absolutely white glove customer service, hats off to you.
Excellent beginner uke
This is an excellent beginner uke. 10/10
Great starter Uke
Got this to get started on ukulele - tenor size just a little easier for my fat fingertips than concert or soprano. For $99 you can't beat this thing with a stick! Very well made and sounds good for the money. I put a strap pin and strap on it because it sounded just a bit tubby cradled between my elbow and tummy, which I can't blame the uke for. It's good enough that I think I may put a KNA UK1 on it and call it good, rather than eventually buying something nicer once I get better at uke. I use a KNA on a classical guitar and it has performed well as a passive pickup that required no cutting or drilling to mount.
I nice little Uke.
I bought this as a gift for my wife. She loves it. Seems well made and has a nice even tone. I'd recommend it.
Cordoba 15TM Tenor ukelele
This is my first ukelele and I love it! Very nice looking, well made and great sounding. Thanks Cordoba!
Cordoba 15TM, Tenor Ukulele
Search for beginner's ukuleles and the Cordoba 15CT, Concert will be present much of the time. I opted for the 15TM, Tenor ukulele because I thought it would offer more maneuverability for my hands, and I had heard it gave a little more on the low end than the concert model. I'm happy with the decision. Living in Savannah, GA, it took a few days of tuning before it took. Evidently ukuleles react to heat and humidity. Once it lived in an air-conditioned, temperature-controlled environment for a while, it did very well. Recommended without reservation. A great starter.
Complete satisfaction
I love my ukulele and am completely satisfied! Love the 3 day free shipping too! Thanks Sweetwater.
Good Beginner Ukulele
Great ukulele for someone like me who is coming to ukulele after playing guitar.
Super content :)
Quel instrument fantastique!
Cordoba 15tm Series Tenor Ukulele
Excellent fo the price. Binding on body and fingerboard. Frets are dressed properly, plays in tune and sound is good.
Good Ukulele!
This is my first Ukulele, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The quality and sound is very good and it's been a load of fun. I will say that I've had it for almost 2 weeks, playing it about 20 minutes daily and the strings are just now starting to stay in tune.
15TM Ukulele
The larger body size makes this ukulele easier to handle than my smaller ukulele. And it also gives it a deeper, richer tone. For the price, a good purchase.
Great Value!
I have played guitar for nearly 50 years, and I wanted to add a uke to my collection. I shopped around, and narrowed my choice to this model. I didn't want to invest a lot since it is by no means my main instrument, but this uke really provides a lot of value for the price. It is well built, very attractive, plays in tune and has a nice full tone. I own a Cordoba classical as well, and I was very impressed with the quality of that guitar. The uke is built with the same attention to detail. I also purchased the Cordoba gig bag with this instrument, and it is literally a miniature version of the classical bag. Very solid and well padded. Highly recommended.
My Uke
I'm not in Hawaii, just Missouri...but rocking the hills with my sweet UKE. Throws me back 50 years, I'm NOT Tiny Tim, but I'm still having fun ! Thank you for making my Day.
When the roses pop up. I'll try tip toeing through them...

I love my Cordoba Ukes
This is my second Cordoba Ukulele and the same thing happened after I opened the box! I can"t put it down for hours. I got the one with electronics and sound is amazing with my Fishman Loudbox! Craftsmanship is beautiful. The inlays make it look like a $300 Ukulele. This will not be my last Cordoba Ukulele for sure!
Absolutely wonderful!
This is overall an amazing ukulele. Cordoba has done an great job making such a small instrument have a lot of volume. The tone is fairly bright, and the Aquila strings perform very well. It's very lightweight and also very comfortable to play.
My 2nd Cordoba Uke
Consistent Cordoba Craftsmanship! The fretboard is best compared to other Tenor Ukulele"s at this price range! This is great for beginners or intermediate players. I would have no doubts of getting my 3rd Cordoba Ukulele in the future!
Great Starting Ukulele!
This is a great Ukulele for the price! I just started playing and cannot be more impressed. It is well built and sounds great!
Nice Uke
Just starting to learn, I think this Cordoba for the price is outstanding, very good looking and easy to play, sounds real good to my untrained ear, I am very happy.
Great Uke!
This is my second, but not the last Uke from Sweetwater.
Excellent instrument, very comfortable to play, I got a soprano sized Kala at first - a bit too small for me.
This tenor is just perfectly sized and sounds great, scale size is very manageable, frets could use some sanding at edges, but for this price point it is a steal!
Great Purchase
Really enjoy this model. A lot of fun and quality for the price. Sounds and plays well.
Thanks to Sweetwater for the wonderful customer service.
Nut width sold it.
The nut width being an inch 1 1/2" really was the main reason I bought this ukulele. The second, I have some friends who are "Big Cordoba fans" I was looking for an entry level uke with a wide neck for comfort. The 1/8" over the more common 1 3/8" made a bid difference for me. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and sound. For a hundred bucks you can't go wrong for someone learning and practicing or traveling, this is perfect. When I'm ready to up grade the 35T is on the wishlist. Sweetwater also personally called me to say that the Uku was shipping. Nice touch a company that cared. They made a loyal customer out of me.
Cordoba 15TM
Beautiful tone, perfect intonation on the frets, great action right from the start. All of this in an instrument selling for less than $100.
Cordoba 15Tm

Nice uke
Nice uke for the price--would be a great choice for a starter instrument.
