Behringer Xenyx 1204USB Mixer with USB
I was looking for a small mixer with 2 aux outputs and this mixer fits the bill, good sound preamps. recommended.
Perfect for our needs.
Our Youth Choir has been using a Behringer Xenyx Q802USB Mixer for years and found it to be a quality piece of equipment. So, when we decided to go from two to four microphones, the Xenyx 1204USB was the natural progression. I love the fact that you can see your levels at a glance with the slides in place of knobs. Also the simplicity of this mixer makes it great for someone not doing a lot of effects or EQ, but the controls are there so you can be as creative as you want to be. Don't be afraid of this mixer because it's inexpensive. It won't let you down.
Excellent Mixer!
I already have a 12 channel Berhringer mixer I've been using for my main setup since 2002 and it's still working great! I recently DJ'd a wedding where ceremony, cocktails, dinner and dancing were in 4 different locations and needed an additional mixer to handle the multiple music sources necessary for the bride's dinner music selections and introductions, speeches etc. This board was the perfect solution! It's small yet rack mountable, sounded great at a great price point! Highly recommend!

Once you figure it all out the soundboard is super smooth to use. I definitely recommend this for recording and for PA use. Very nice feel to it and includes just about everything you need.
Behringer Xenyx 1204USB Mixer with USB
works great
very simple to use, great tool at a great price
This won't wow anyone, but those of us who have gotten to know Behringer know the value of some of their gear. As a simple mixer this is fantastic. I got it to mix guitar cab mics and it works like a charm.
Mixer
Very nice mixer, works well!!
I love this mixer!
The Behringer mixer has reopened the gate of hell for me.
Great product
I had to get this because of its size. These mixers. Are super easy to use and hook up. I would definitely recommend these products to anyone in music. I told my friend about this one and he brought it right away. So yea. Your making the right decision if your looking at this product.
Nice little mixer
Purchased this unit to manage the audio for our church livestream, separate from our main mixer. It works great for our rather simple current configuration, and it can support more sophisticated setups as our needs grow.
My New Xenyx 1204
This is one powerful unit and for the amazing price I'm blown away! Exactly what we were looking for and then some.
Behringer has never disappointed!
Bought this to do some recording and some small shows and I am very happy with this mixer. I've been using the X32 at church and wanted to see if their analog boards are just as good and I am blown away.
GREAT
one of my favorite mixers! It works like a charm!
AWESOME
Incredible mixer perfect for my needs I highly recommend this particular mixer to anyone that wants great quality sound.
Unbelievable
easy setup, great quality.
Great small mixer!
It'S amazing. I use this for a newsroom and it's perfect!
Quiet and flexible
8 channel (4 mic) analog stereo mixer with USB interface. Very quiet. Look forward to recording with it. It has FX send and return, but does not include effects. The Behringer X1204USB includes effects. Incredible for the price.
Good mixer!!
Got this mixer last week and in one week have used it for a guest speaker, 2 sermons and a Christmas play!! Incredibly easy to setup and use. Haven't used the recording function yet, but plan to in the near future.
The microphone preamps are warm and vibrant...everyone's voice sounds natural; even with antiquated house speaker system.
Big thanks to Roq Martin for getting this to me so quickly!!
Great value
Needed a small unit for small venues. This item works great. Took a little time to get the hang of setting it up. But once we got locked in, it was fine.
Great for Keys!
Run three Yamaha keyboards through this puppy for gigging. Works perfect for my needs!
Behringer Xenyx 1204USB
The mixer is working GREAT!!! Really like the extra boost it gives to our PA!
Workhorse for my setup!
This mixer is awesome! It has the perfect amount of inputs to run a podcast with multiple inputs and the USB interface makes recording a breeze! The only reason this mixer gets four stars from me is because triggering the audio to go to USB was a little confusing at first. There's two 2-TR/USB buttons on the mixer and knowing whether up is to USB or down is to USB is a little confusing. Other than that, it would have got five stars!
Good desktop device mixer
I was looking to replace my old Mackie 1202 VLZ with something that had an on-board A/D-D/A converter. It used to be the heart of our bar-gig PA system, but had ended up being my desktop mixer for controlling mikes, acoustics, and other isolated devices into my desktop and laptop computers. That required routing the output into a Digidesign Digi 002R or my Eleven Rack for the A/D conversion. Now I can run directly from the Xenyx into the desktop and vice versa. It's really nice for that. Like most Behringer gear, I don't get the feeling that it would put up with all the abuse that got heaped onto my Mackie over the years of playing bars and clubs in San Francisco, but I'm not playing bars and clubs in San Francisco any more so I don't need that kind of road-worn durability. And the price is right.
Good for Gigs
Overall it's nice. knobs and faders are smooth and sturdy. Its really good for small gigs where you need to mix some keys or drum machines. I premix my electronics and just gig the sound guy two XLR outs. The USB is a waste though. The packaged DAW blows and none of the controls send midi just sound. It it was a real DAW control surface It would get a 5.
Does it have echo and reverb

Great While it Lasted
I bought one of these in August of 2014. Less than a week after it arrived, one of the main outputs stopped working completely. Sweetwater sent a replacement immediately.
The replacement worked great until recently - one of the main outputs is starting to fail.
To be fair, I used this thing weekly for almost 3 years, and it cost less than $200, so maybe I got my money's worth out of it, but I won't be buying another Behringer mixer.
It's ok.
It works with one of my computers. With the help from the tech dept. But we could not get it to work with my OTHER win 7 machine. Both are win 7's, so I do not see why it works with one, but not the other.
I still have not done any significant work with it, I feel like I need to digest the owners manual and I WISH the owners manual for ALL electronics were better written. If you follow directions, you ought to be able to accomplish something step by step. But what MOST owners manuals fail to address, is...WHAT IF ANY GIVEN STEP does NOT do what is expected? Owners manuals need to figure all possibilities, within reason, such that if something doesn't do, or work what we expect to have happen and do... then there needs to be a solution.
For example, I never could get Garritan Personal Orchestra to work, even with help from BOTH Garritan and MIXCRAFT people. I paid good money, but have nothing usable. Too bad because I like adding in orchestra.
As to this mixer...I want to work with it more, because the goal is to spend LESS time figuring out mechanicals, and more time creating music.
Nice while it lasted
For the most part, it was a pretty good mixer. I really liked the inputs and the way everything was laid out. However, when I used it as an audio input for my computer, there was a lot of hiss. Then, a few weeks ago, it stopped working on me completely. No lights, nothing. I suspect the power supply went out. I've only had it a little over a year and never used it outside the house, so I don't think I got my money's worth.
Really, really bad...
First, I must preface this to say that this rating is not a knock against sweetwater. They are always great in everything having to do with them, including the return of this unit.
For me, the xenyx had one huge problem, and that is the driver. Asio4all has never worked well for me, and the streak continued here. I was unable to record and then playback the recording without messing with the asio4all interface, leading to guessing and choosing, PC restarts and just all sorts of super aggravating issues. Recording into Ableton proved to be impossible. Getting audio to play off my computer over the monitors was hit or miss as well.
Additionally, whenever I turned on my micro freak, I would get a constant hum/whine coming over the monitors.
Lastly, the led level indicators we're horribly off, never rising above the 2nd demarcations on the master, and hardly ever registering at all on the individual channels no matter how high the volume was coming out of the monitors.
Switching to a different brand, albeit at a price point significantly higher than this unit, has immediately solved all these issues.
