Enjoy the FULL Capabilities With the Fender Mustang Footswitch

Super AWESOME footswitch that makes accessing all of the sweetness of the Mustang IV combo amp possible. This footswitch, along with the 4- button that comes with the amp allows you to alter presets and use the "stomp" and "mod" or "stomp" and "reverb" feature while using the 4- button to control the up and down through the 100 presets stored in the amp. Using the 2- button switch, a player can add distortion, modulation, or reverb/ chorus while still storing three amp presets. This means that a player can expand his possibilities for sounds/ effects from three (and a tuner) to 6 or 12 depending on how they set up the mods and stomps. What a great product- well made and easy to operate! I won't play without it! Thanks Sweetwater and Lindsay Becker!

works as intended

Does what it is suppose to do. To get a 5 star rating switches could be a little farther apart. Cables are not the best.

Live or studio the footswitch is not a substitute for pedals.

Pro guitarist who do double duty for your rock group ie rhythm and lead will know a little about the need to play stacato notes and arpegios for top 40 rock. And then when that hot metal guitar solo needs to be played, you would think you could just tap your foot switch live But when you get this switch out of the package you'll realize quickly that you dont get to keep the DSP's that makes having 6 reverb halls, and 9 amps so appealing. The 2 button only allows you to switch between clean and distorted. But guitarist read the fine print. When you program in which amp you want on any Fender Mustang 1-V you don't get to use those big chorus or amazing anaolog tape echo at 3 echos to play those hit songs you wrote live. You only get a clean amp and say a distorted amp or any amp on this modelling series. But DSP don't stay. So pro guitarist know that you have to compromise with the Mustang series. Some of you may have already learned that you're going to have to buy a chorus pedal, hall reverb. I suggest Hall of fame for its 10 really excellant halls. And two timer a true tape echo. With all the Fender Mustang series in the studio you get to mike your amp with say your favorite Berinnger microphone and let rip your 57 bassman and dsp for track one. But you wont be able to use the footswitch to keep the dsp. So what does that mean for you? Fender cheaped on the footswitch to keep the prices competitive. They of course Fender has a Fender Mustang mutli foot pedal for a preety penny. Then Fender claims you get to keep your dsps. The guitar pro
