    Awesome guitar . Beautiful too

I have owned many guitars and played a lot!! This guitar sounds better than a lot of $3,000+ guitars! It has such a deep sound. Perfect fit too. Couldn't be happier. Came in 2 days! Nice case too.

    Great acoustic!

I have a couple nice electric guitars and really wanted to get a nice acoustic. I wanted to get a well built, good guitar that I wouldn't regret purchasing but I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for it. I tried a couple of dreadnoughts and they were just too big. I took a chance and ordered this one without knowing how it played, etc. I love it! The size is perfect and it plays great. It seems to be very high quality and has plenty of natural woods and no laminates. It doesn't have the big sound of the dreadnoughts but it's plenty clean and crisp. It came with a TKL case which is perfect for storing/protecting it. I'm so pleased I waited for Sweetwater to get me one of these!

    My New Martin

Absolutely the best acoustic I have ever owned. Martin lives up to its standard and reputation.

After registration they even mailed me a New Owners card with my full name and the serial number of my Martin.

Oh, in case you were wondering, the Martin Guitar does smell wonderful. It is the Spanish Cedar they use for the Purfing.

    Simply Amazing

I have owned one of these for 4 years. The intonation and playability is oustanding. I sold my OMJM shortly after owning this guitar for only a few weeks. Under a good mic she'll shine just as much as her glass top.

    great little guitar!

I originally wanted the clapton 000-28 model, but out of my price range however,i searched the martin guitars and narrowed down to what i wanted as far as size,sound,woods.etc.and the 000-16,came close..i was impressed as soon as i opened the case and smelled that familiar martin wood..matter of fact,my living room smelled like it for a bit,a good thing...the guitar is very light,a smaller bodied guitar which is what i was wanting with a pretty good projection of tone...very balanced, almost a scooped sound, which is what im into...great for strumming, picking, finger picking etc..great action on the neck, strings could be just a hair lower, but its comfy to play, and best of all it is true from the bottom of the neck all the way to the highest, very true in its tuning,i played with my buddies with 3 guitars for a few hours, and i worried if it would keep up with the washburn dreadnought type body and another dreadnought body type, matter of fact, the martin sounded better and was just as loud.ill keep this guitar, even if i do get the clapton model someday(which i plan on)...the guitar is good for recording, playing live,or just sitting in the living room,,,great all around guitar!that affordable...

    Nice guitar

A full sized Martin with a traditional selection of woods. It does and acts like I would expect a guitar at this level to, in other words it plays easy and sounds great. I was not sure about the Richilite fingerboard and bridge since I like the look and feel of wood but at 10 feet I could not tell it from ebony and it is a lot cheaper/renewable//wear resistant
