A very important message to owners of Opcode products

You've all probably already heard rumors about Opcode's future. If you've tried to call them or sent them e-mail, you know that they are not responding. Like you, we've tried to find out exactly what's happening, but unfortunately, we can't seem to get accurate information, either. It's easy to assume the worst: That the company is going to close its doors, or at the very least, restructure. However, even that is conjecture at this point.

What we do know is that owners of Opcode products are not being supported by the company, which makes getting answers to your questions or solutions to your problems impossible. What can you do? Well, first of all, if you bought your Opcode software or hardware from us, please call our Product Support department for assistance. In most cases, they can get you up and running (we've got a whole bunch of really smart people back there, after all). If you are concerned that you may not get the future support from Opcode that you require, we have a number of extremely reasonable crossgrade programs available from Mark of the Unicorn and others that will cost a few bucks, but will give you peace-of-mind regarding future service and support.

The bottom line is that everyone here at Sweetwater will do everything we can to take care of you. Call your Sales Engineer for full details on the crossgrade programs, or our Product Support or Service departments for advice, problem solving or repairs. As soon as we learn more about the situation at Opcode, we will, of course, pass it along to you.
