This mixmap for Cubase users is for contolling and selecting effects. Thanks to whoever posted the control numbers to the list. Two major parameters were not listed, i.e. the Reverb left and right levels (as seen in multi configurations). I found these by trial and error and the reason they weren't listed became apparent. The Reverb Right Level is controlled by controller #64 which is also sustain pedal!! The only way to use it is to edit all layers of the program assigned to Ch 16 (turn Sos Pedal OFF on LAYER page). Obviously this inhibits its use somewhat so it is best left alone. I have put a "CAUTION" text object over it to remind you. To use this mixmap, set the K2000 up as follows: 1)On the EFFECTS page set to MASTER, Chnl 16 2)On the MIDI RECV page for CH 16 set PrgChng Lock to ON. 3)Also on MIDI RECV set ProgChgType to Extended. With v1.0 to v2.? you must do this every time you power up *or* you can set it up and save MASTER (without dependant objects), then load that file each time you start. You will see that I have not included all the parameters that can be controlled. I have only done those which I think would be usefully changed to give impact to a sequence, so things like Reverb HFDamp are not included. You can always create more objects if you really want more parameters represented. I have not done objects for PARAMETRIC EQ 4TAP DELAY or GRAPHIC EQ but the bypass and wet/dry mix controls will work for them too. None of the preset effects use the Room Simulation algorithm. You will need to create and save such an effect to use the controls for Room Simulation. I included them because I use that algorithm sometimes. For best s/n set dry levels to 0. In some preset effects it is not 0. This is a far more elegant way of controlling fx than my previous K2000 fxmap uploads (which included fxprogs.krz). Those older files should be deleted from any archives. Glenn Reither glenn@loose.apana.org.au
