Mic giant Shure has announced a rebate program worth up to $1,000, if you trade in your Shure 700MHz frequency band (actually 698 to 806MHz) wireless systems and related components that were purchased before February 7, 2007. What’s more, they’ll give you the same rebate for any other manufacturer’s qualifying 700MHz frequency band wireless systems and related components. “We’ve known for some time that the 700MHz band would be reallocated for new services following the DTV transition on February 18, 2009,” explained Al Hershner, VP and general manager of the Shure U.S. Business Unit. “Although a final decision from the FCC is still pending, we felt the need to assure our customers [today] that we will take care of them, regardless of the outcome.”
Customers may submit their $1,000 rebate forms with the purchase of the following new Shure replacement products: UHF-R, ULX, MX690/SLX4L, PSM700 (H3, L2 bands), and PGX. Contact your Sales Engineer for complete information on the rebate and which products qualify.
