Continuing its long history of commitment to worldwide customer support, Roland is pleased to announce a brand new patch download for its highly acclaimed V-Synth GT elastic-audio synthesizer. This new download adds a veritable treasure trove of cutting-edge sounds to the V-Synth GT, with over 450 re-creations of classic analog synthesizers from the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s, including vintage Juno, Jupiter, SH, TB-303 and D-50 sounds. In addition, its new filter-bank patches are specifically designed to allow creative processing of external audio sources. All patches are designed using the V-Synth GT’s powerful analog-modeling technology. Users can easily download and save these as a V-Synth GT project. All of the patches are mapped to the V-Synth GT’s real-time controls, including the signature time-trip pad. Users can add these patches to their existing GT projects, with the GT’s librarian software. Roland also added new filter banks, so users can stream audio via the GT’s analog, digital, or USB audio inputs and then use its array of COSM filters and effects to tweak or mangle the sounds, as they see fit.
