Removing MC Mix/Artist Legs

Q: I have a Euphonix MC Mix control surface (now known as the “Artist Mix“) with my Pro Tools system, but I need to take the legs off of it so I can fit it into my new studio desk. There doesn’t seem to be any way to get them off once they are snapped on, without breaking them?

A: To remove the MC Mix or Artist Mix legs, you have to take off the unit’s end panels. When you do, the slot the legs snap into, and the tabs that hold them in place will be revealed. Hold the tabs over to release them, and the legs should pop right off.
