Paul Reed Smith Guitars today announced the all-new S2 family of instruments. Named for Stevensville, Maryland, where the guitars are made, the S2 family comprises three models: the S2 Custom 24, the S2 Mira, and the S2 Starla. Utilizing new processes and specs as all U.S.-made PRS guitars, the S2 Series brings classic PRS quality, playability, and tone to a new price point. The three models share key features including PRS S2 locking tuners, custom-wound pickups, PRS pattern regular neck shape, PRS S2 bridges as well as PRS fretwire, nuts, and double-action truss rods. The new asymmetrical, beveled body shapes offers vintage vibe, and the flatness of the tops gives these guitars a big, resonant voice.
