PreSonus Announces ADL 700

Presonus has announced the ADL 700, a new channel strip that combines the high-end Class A tube preamplifier from the acclaimed, award-winning dual-channel ADL600 tube preamplifier with an FET compressor and a four-band semi-parametric EQ. With XLR mic, balanced line, and unbalanced instrument inputs, the ADL 700 can serve a variety of functions in the recording studio. Other features include variable input impedance for the mic input; variable attack, threshold, release, ratio, and gain controls on the compressor; 48-volt phantom power, phase invert, 20dB pad, variable highpass filter, 16dB of gain for each EQ band, dual mode analog VU metering, and more. Specs are said to include ultra low noise (-100dB), 73dB of gain, and 10Hz to 45kHz frequency response.
