  • Numark MixMeister Control – Designed from the ground up to be a true hardware extension of the powerful MixMeister DJ software, this unit works just as well with virtually any MIDI-capable DJ programs. MixMeister Control gives you hands-on controls for looping by track, FX, EQ, and much more, as it offers a mind-blowing 40 knobs, 53 buttons, and even a jog wheel – that’s 94 hardware controllers. You can also control automation effects, VST plug-ins, and more, with minimal computer action. The MixMeister Control includes a full version of MixMeister Fusion software, which is designed to elevate your DJ skills to the next level, freeing you from such monotonous tasks as beat matching, setting cue points, and counting beats in your head. You can even manipulate tempo, volume, and EQ in real time.
  • Rupert Neve Designs Portico 5012 – At last, there is a 2-channel microphone preamp that sports Rupert Neve’s custom input and output transformer designs, for a sound that’s strikingly similar to that of the classic Neve consoles. Each channel of the Portico 5012 is equipped with individually selectable phase, mute, phantom power, and a fully sweepable highpass filter, along with a “Silk” circuit, which enhances the sound by adding both warmth and presence. The mic input is balanced but not floating, being a variant of an instrumentation amplifier using a “Transformer-Like Amplifier” (T.L.A.) configuration. Great care was taken in designing the 5012 to produce as little noise and nonharmonic distortion as possible. Carefully implemented signal paths and class A operation are a large part of the 5012’s sweet, whisper-quiet performance.
  • Rupert Neve Designs Portico 5014 – This Stereo Field Editor from Rupert Neve Designs gives recording, mixing, and mastering engineers an innovative tool to alter the stereo field. As an entirely analog device, the Portico 5014 allows for the manipulation of the relationship between mono panned images and stereo ambience, along with the ability to insert EQ or compression into the signal path to selectively alter only certain parts of the overall sound. Intended for recording, mixing, and mastering applications, the Portico 5014 differentiates between near-field (direct) and far-field (ambient) sources and allows for the manipulation of the relationship between mono panned images and stereo ambience through the use of width, depth, and phase controls. Source material may be further manipulated by inserting external processors or by engaging the simple onboard midband EQ. Utilizing custom transformer designs, the 5014 is a unique addition to the modern engineer’s palette, bringing dimension and life to any recording.
