When you’re looking for a specific file and you’re not sure which folder it’s been tucked in to for safe keeping, Apple has a neat way to see the contents of multiple folders simultaneously while in “List View” in OS X. Quite simply Apple+click on the names of the folders you want to look at and press Apple + Right cursor key to expand all the folders at once. To close the folders, just press Apple + Left cursor key.
