Graham Nix
Graham Nix
Hello! My name is Graham Nix, and I’m proud to serve as the School Relationship Manager for Georgia with Sweetwater. With over 20 years of progressive experience in the music industry across sales/rentals, management, and operations, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside educators, administrators, parents, and students at every level.
I’ve spent countless hours in schools and music programs, learning firsthand how critical strong relationships, responsive service, and a deep understanding of instruments and program needs are to student success. My approach is rooted in partnership—supporting educators with reliable solutions while ensuring parents and students feel heard, valued, and confident in their musical journey.
As a lifelong musician who spent over a decade playing guitar and singing in a touring rock band, I bring a genuine passion for music into everything I do. I understand the impact music can have on young lives because I’ve lived it. Whether I’m helping a program grow, solving a challenge, or simply being a trusted resource, my goal is to provide thoughtful, compassionate service that helps every music program—and every student—thrive.
As one of the School Relationship Managers here at Sweetwater, please let me know anytime I can offer help or advice.

What in your background prepared you most to help Band and Orchestra Directors with their rental instrument needs?
My background is rooted in supporting school music programs of all sizes and helping more than 10,000 students each year get started with the right rental instruments. I understand the realities directors face—limited time, varying budgets, and the need for dependable service. My experience working closely with educators, parents, and support teams has taught me how to make the rental process simple and reliable, so directors can focus on their students and their programs.
