Triton Classic System Error

I encountered a system error with my Triton last night. First time its ever happened - the keyboard is less than a year old. I turned it on and could not access the floppy drive or any mode. Pressing anywhere on the touch screen made it act screwy - BPM changes, combi changes, etc. If you hit the keys, eventually it would freeze up and say "system error" along with a bunch of other garbled numbers and codes all over the screen.
Here's the thing - I've read about the "enter + 0" startup method that clears the on board memory. Even that doesnt work. I think a reinstall of the OS will fix it but I cant access the floppy drive to do so. Anyone else ever encounter this?
