Alesis Vi61 Available at Amazon!??

It's difficult enough waiting on a pre-ordered item with a tentative date,but to discover that some unknown retailer via Amazon has top priority on an Alesis shipment and not a major music retailer like Sweetwater??

Half of the more popular music retailers out there(such as Zzounds,Americanmusical and BHphotovideo),have yet to acknowledge the existence of the new Alesis Vi-series...but Sweetwater was one of the first(if not THE first),to take pre-orders....so if some "mom & pop music shop" is the first to have the Alesis Vi61 in stock,why doesn't Sweetwater have it available at this moment??
For all I know though...perhaps one of the big boy music retailers is secretly selling the first Alesis shipment via Amazon,as a means of extorting extra coin out of some anxious prospective buyers..because the retailer on Amazon wants $307!
