Macbook Air- Is it Good for Music?

.Selah.

Hello.
Thanks for reading. I have the possibility of purchasing a new laptop soon, and the macbook air's flash memory has caught my attention. My question is, does it have the power to run DAWs and plugins, virtual processors, or even movie editing software? They run Intel i5's. Anyone with experience with either the air or the i5 in general's opinion is greatly appreciated. Or, for that matter, anyone with experience with such programs and has an idea of what is adequate to run them. Thank you all.
I'm looking at this guy.

This review was from a few years ago. Of course, the newer models should be even faster. Also, check out the video linked near the end of the article.

Macs could do that even when all we had was PowerPc Quadras....
You can bring ANY computer to it's knees by overloading it but any modern machine will do those things.
