Powered Subs hook-up

Ray5008

Could someone please tell me how to connect two powered subs with two passive PA speakers.
The equipment I have is: Behringer mixer, Sonic Maximizer, 2 JBL Jrx 125 passive PA speakers, 2 JBL 118sp powered subs, and Behringer EP2500 power amp.
I would appreciate the help. Thank You

Easiest way is to go from mixer to powered subs and then out of each sub into each channel of amp. Out to unpowered speakers from amp.... Use HPF outs so you can avoid using external crossover.

a CrossOver/Speaker management system would be another way to do it. I personally do Aux/Mono output feed subs for some of my shows to keep down unnecessary low end build up.

Your active subs should already have a crossover... I would use that :) It will just take a couple more cables to connect back to your amps. You can use your low pots as the gain controls for the subs.
