Way to convert audio files into waveform video

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if there was a way to automatically convert an audio file into a video file that would show the waveform moving as if you were watching a fixed playhead reading audio in a DAW. Any ideas?
Thanks for the answers

That's an intriguing question. Is there a particular purpose for the video? In other words, why produce a (space intensive) video when you could, say, either have the end-user use Audacity or upload the audio file to Soundcloud?
The only way I could think of producing a video of the waveform that advanced with the audio would be to screen capture real-time playback.
