Powered Monitor Signal to a Powered Speaker

Can you feed a powered speaker with a powered monitor signal?

Most have an XLR out so that you can daisy-chain from box to box.

You should use a line level signal to feed a powered monitor, not a powered signal. I believe that would overdrive the input to the powered monitor and give you distortion.

Ditto Mark G.,
Never feed a self powered spkr system with a powered amp-level signal. Even if it survived, it would likely sound like crap. Only way this could work, is if you bypassed preamp AND power amp of speaker. Just send it a line level signal, directly from board/EQ or other line-level proc. Just joined forum, sorry for delay in response. Good Luck!...Bill Duck
