Drum bounce

Invert48

I feel like my sticks don't bounce that much with my drums. Why could this be? tunning? drum heads? the drums themselves (I have like a ludwig starter set)? Compared to my practice drum pad my sticks barely bounce.

Rubber practice pads are more bouncy than mylar. You can increase bounce by tightening the heads, but obviously, that also changes the pitch of the drum.
You might also look at your sticks. Regal Tip's new E Series are more bouncy than regular sticks. If you want even more bounce, try Superstix.
Hope those tips help.
