Kawai MP-10 - What speakers to get for good sound

gscottnelson

I am a recreational player that is intermediate, approaching advanced. I understand the MP10 stage piano is the one to beat for action and great sound.
But what speakers do I get?

Playing at home only, or will you be playing out? What other gear will you be using and do you have? Even if you will be playing at home only, will you be playing with others, ever?
Please provide this and another info you think might help.

Home use only. But I want accurate full range sound reproduction. I don't know much about reference monitors compare to nice regular home stereo speakers, which I am a connosaorre of.
Are they mostly all same?

I know of people that have used their home stereo system to do this. Obviously that depends on how you have things set up. When reproducing piano, full range is important.
I suppose you could try your home stereo system and see if that does the job for you.
