Beginner needs a keyboard recommendation

gophoenix

I want to learn to play and have some people that are going to teach me but I want to get a nice keyboard that will keep me motivated and will still be up to my needs a few years down the road. I have been looking at the yamaha dgx 640. The price isn't too high and it has the Yamaha education thing on it that is supposed to help, only problem is that I can't seem to find out exactly how, and if, it actually helps you learn. Can anyone tell me if this is a good digital piano to learn on and if the yamaha education thing can actually help me do it.
Thanks

It is a good choice for the money and the education suite is a great. It is basically a bunch of built in lessons that take you through the steps to learn how to play a specific song.
Another piece of software to consider is the Piano Wizard Premier
