Best Low Cost Software Package

MarkBeauchene

Attached is a layout of my studio gear with a second sheet outlining what I hope to accomplish. I have a very tight budget and have been having a hard time identifying the software I need to buy (or find open source) to make it work. Anyone have a good suggestion?

Sonar X1 Essential is a really good start for this. It will give you the ability to give you recording for multiple sources also give you the ability to use virtual instruments with your QS or record sounds directly from it.

It will give you a notation view so you can see the notes in more of a traditional view, but it will not give you the ability to scan in scores. For that, you will need photoscore.
