Electrical disturbances

Hi everybody,
I have been observing that whenever the pa system is powered on and any electrical switch is put on/ off, a loud noise (like a snap) is heard through the speakers. It is heard almost every time a nearby switch is turned on/ off. Is there any way to avoid this?
Does this require a change in wiring for the pa power source? Dedicated power lines from power mains?
Or is there any equipment that would take care of this? Do "power conditioners" have anything to do with this?
The power for the pa runs through a servo control stabilizer, by the way..
I'd be grateful for your ideas !
Thanks in advance
