AX 7 With a Laptop

hi guys
i am new in here, i just want to ask some questions before buy a Roland AX7,
can i set it up to my laptop and use some of mine standalone software like :" korg legacy collection, steinberg hipersonic2,etc etc?

You most certainly can. You would need a host application to run them. Steinberg has a package called V-Stack that is a VST host. It is pretty inexpensive and works pretty well.

There are also vsti's and samplers that run in stand-alone mode (in other words they dont need a host, they work by themselves.)
KVRAudio.com catalogs EVERYTHING and you can do a search for [URL="http://www.kvraudio.com/get.php?mode=results&st=adv&soft[]=h&type[]=0&f[]=vst&win=1&free=1&sf=0&receptor=&de=0&sort=1&rpp=45"]free vst hosts like this.
