Roland SP 555 Help

Whats up,
I just got the Sp 555 and I am trying to import my sounds using the waves converter they supplied but I get nothing. I read the manual for it and I might as well just grabbed the sports section at least I would know who was up in the Olympics. Anyway, I exported some of the on board sounds to the card and they are there and can be imported back to the 555 but when it comes to the sounds from the converter i get nada.
Does anyone know of how this is done or do you just have to import your sounds by just dumping on the card its self without using the nifty save you time converter program. Is there a way to use the usb to straight sample to pads or something other than this program.
Thanks in advance for any and all help on this topic
