epiphone les paul

hey i was wondering if someone could tell me how to tell the difference between an epiphone les paul studio and a custom, cause i want to buy a cherry burst one at a pawn shop and he is selling it for $375, but i dont know if its a studio or custom.

it also has les paul written in cursive on the head, but there is another one with the little diamond thing on the head.

Hi Soccerball,
If it's a Les Paul Custom..Gibson or Epiphone. The fret inlays will have a square or rectangular look to them depending on what fret you're looking at. The higher up on the neck..the more they turn rectangular in shape. The studio Les Pauls have small dot inlays on the fretboard.

I have a Studio, and it cost me a good £100 more than that. I love it to bits, so if the condition is good I'd say go for it :)
