classic windows?

i just got the cs rack 3.0 and i was wondering why windows classic is the default theme and can i change it? A small issue granted but the cs rack leaves me nothing else to question......... so far

I believe that the XP style uses more cpu.
To change to windows XP style: Right click on desk top - Properties>appearence, select: "windows XP style" then click on apply.

Yes, Red is correct. We put it on the classic mode to dedicate all the cpu and memory possible to audio performance.
You can enable the XP theme again if you like, you may not notice a performance difference depending on how you're using your machine.
