When I was a kid, my mother always had music playing on the stereo. I remember sitting between the speakers for hours wondering about things like why it sounded like the singer's voice was coming from the middle instead of the sides.
In 2003 this curiosity eventually led to me leaving my hometown of Kansas City for the desert of Tempe, AZ to attend The Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences. The Conservatory gave me a solid foundation on which to build my career in music production.
I then returned to the midwest to complete my 280 hour internship at Blacklodge Recording in Eudora, KS under producer Ed Rose. I was then brought on as a house engineer where I worked for a wide variety of local and regional acts.
Over the next couple years I gradually assembled enough gear of my own to start doing free-lance work with my mobile recording rig which I owned and operated for about 10 years. I have worked on everything from Folk Music to Hip Hop to Metal. Wherever the human spirit is being celebrated in music, I am there to help artists communicate their vision.
As your personal contact here at Sweetwater, please let me know anytime I can offer help or advice.

I was a very dedicated skateboarder when I was younger. My world view is informed by the richness of experiences that I had cruising around the city streets with my friends.
It's not my job to sell you gear, It's my job to help you make great music.
Flea is pretty cool.
I wanted to be an astronaut.
I feel that my greatest strength as an Engineer has always been helping others to realize their full potential. I love nothing more than watching my clients faces when I play the final mix for them and hearing them say "We didn't know we could sound that good". For me, that's what it's all about.
At Sweetwater, all of my co-workers are just as passionate about music and gear as I am. This isn't a job, it's a lifestyle.

Absolutely amazed by the personal service on our order! It is obvious customer satisfaction is a priority. Your company would be the first place we would look for music related items. Great prices, great service and BTW, even the little touch of adding some candy made my kids very pleased! Thank you!
David from Renton, WA
I have to say it's the most personal order I've ever made from the pre-ship phone call, to the email, and finally the candy in the box. Thanks! I don't think I could beat the customer service even in a local shop
Chrystal from McMinnville, TN
