I recently purchased this pedal and I am totally satisfied with the results I get. Powerful, clean, and a plethora of tone settings to be had! Although (for the most part), I will set it and forget it. It will definitely be an "always on" pedal! Solidly built and DEAD QUIET. My rig (Mesa Subway D-800 with a Subway 115 and 112 ran in tandem) sounded great without the Whirlwind EQ, but the EQ took it to a different level. Notes are crystal clear without any distorted overtones. I am still "experimenting" with this pedal because I want to see what other types of sonic bliss I can achieve. Highly recommended!

If you're a bassist and you've got some frequencies you need to control, you have to get this. Mine just arrived today, and as soon as I turned it on I was sold. I got this pedal as opposed to some other cheaper bass EQs because I liked the frequencies they had chosen. My problem area is at 80 hz, and every other pedal I saw had only 60 hz or 120 hz bands. This cleaned that right up without thinning out my sound.

After that, I had a ton of fun experimenting with different boosts and cuts. It's tough to find a bad setting. The bands are so natural sounding. Even flat it adds a lot of clarity to your sound. How? I'm not sure. I honestly believe it might be magic.

I already had a high pass/low pass filter pedal, but I think I'm going to sell it. This pedal totally serves that function but with much more surgical precision.

Finally, the tones I've been trying to find for decades. This pedal is awesome

Old retired guy. Every Christmas I get some musical goodies and my wife says "Don't you have an couple of those already?" i finally got around to seriously using this today. Definitely designed for bass, great quality. One of my basses is a high quality 6 string that I just couldn't bond with. Just did little bumps on some sliders and wow, sounds great! Try it with effects to really bring out what you have been hearing in your head. Really impressed with this!

This pedal not only can boost your volume should you choose but it brings clarity to your rig regardless how you set the eq. I am very happy with this pedal.
