It’s what I was looking for.

I wanted a simple Bass amp, and I got it. I believe less is more, and this amp dispenses just that.

A Great Little Practice Amp

I've read some reviewers who downgraded this amp because it is not a closed system (it has an open back). In my opinion, this makes no difference at all for a 10 Watt Practice Amp! I practice in a spare bedroom, and this amp is PLENTY loud. I usually practice at setting 1.5 (there are twenty hash marks between 0 and 10, so I call the 3rd hash mark 1.5). If I raise it to 5, it is just too loud, everything in the room starts to buzz (and my wife can hear it downstairs). I'm sure this amp would work in a 2-car garage setting, but is probably too small to gig with in an auditorium or outdoors. Still, it does just what I want, has great natural tone, a Drive dial for distortion, and even a Bright button for a different tone. The VOX details are very cool, and even though I don't play a Hofner Bass, it sure makes the bass line to All My Loving sound great.
